The Stunning Mayon Volcano

Mayon Volcano is one of the magnificent spot in Albay. Indeed, it is one of the Albay’s Pride. It has a majestic cone because of its almost perfect symmetrical triangle shape. It is one of the most active volcano in the world, rising at 2,462 meters above sea level. One of the most unforgettable and destructive eruption of Mayon occurred on February 1, 1814. It was the time when the Cagsawa Ruins devastated. Thousands of people were died. Only the tower of the church remained as the memory of the wreckage.
The picture above is a picture taken by me at coastal road of Puro, Legazpi City going to Embarcadero de Legazpi. There are kids playing on the seashore and a man sailing on the sea. You can see there the magnificence of Mayon and as well as the city of Legazpi. It is one of my photographic shots that you can check out in my Nature photography gallery.
